Do I Need New Pool Table Felt When I have It Moved?

This is a common question. As you may have guessed, the short answer is “maybe”. It depends on factors such as; how old the felt is, if it has been used a lot, if it was protected from the sun or not…

We really won’t know for sure until we get there and try to take the old felt off in one piece.

Usually, if the felt is over 5 years old and it has been played a lot it is probably a good idea to be prepared to replace the felt. If we get the material ahead of time we can take care of the move and re-felt in 1 appointment.
